Pre-Columbian, South America, Colombian, Narino, ca. 500 to 1000 CE. A large, colossal, ginormous . . . whichever adjective you prefer for HUGE . . . classic "bullet" style handbuilt pottery amphora finished with beautiful negative-resist geometric decoration in hues of black on red upon the long neck an splayed rim as well as bullet formed bottom, and black bands on tan ground in the mid section. Metal tripod stand. Size: 10.75" W x 26" H (27.3 cm x 66 cm)
